My major

I´m studying design. why did I choose this career to study? Because I wasn´t sure which career to choose. I like art but also science and technology, as well as literature and urbanization. I don´t like to focus on a single topic, so I think Design can help me learn about everything.

I always liked helping people in some way, that´s why before design I applied to the PDI and there was a time when I wanted to be a Prosecutor. But I don´t just want to save people, I also want to inspire. That´s why I like Design, since I can do both using my creativity and knowledge. for this reason I started Industrial Design at the Universidad de Chile and my experience has been very good. I have managed to have a lot of experience, enhance my skills and find areas that I want develop at a professional level.

But, me dream as a child always been to be a dancer. Since learned to walk, I have always liked to dance, but due to lack of support, I was to unable to have the necessary experience to apply for a dance career and become a professional in the art. I like to imagine that I could help and inspire through my art.

Still I don´t give up and I know I´ll be a designer and a dancer.

A SUBJECT YOU'VE ENJOYED STUDYING THIS SEMESTER

The subject I liked most is the elective CMF, in this course I learned many things regarding the visual and feeling of objects I was taught use of color depending on the use of the product, or what it is focused on, for example, one does not see in the same way a metal hammer with wooden handle to another that was completely coated with white vinyl, although they fulfill that mass function and are made of the same material, one is perceived more fragile in the other. We also passed content regarding what material to use in respective products and finishes of this, an example, of this that I learned are the steering wheel of cars, all have different materials and/or textures by function, the driver has the front view when driving, therefore must be guided by touch if you want to activate a steering wheel function, such as the horn, radio bottoms, signage, etc. In class,we analyze the different objects designed to identify their target audience, in addition, we create a public for a desi...

I would like to visit...

 About wich the country that I would like to visit is definitely first be Japan. But I want to travel all over the world. Japan it's a country in the archipelago of the asian continent, between China, Rusia and Korean peninsula. I would to know and learn more of the culure and landscapes were Japan, as the buddhist temples, fields and cherry blossom in the streets during spring, and a will be honest, also to see themed sities be anime with my favorite series. And, I want to visit Kioto, Akihabara and Shibuya in Tokyo. I would like to study and work there because, I would want to learn Japanese before the all, after study and work to designer, because I like Japanese industrial design, it's cozy and minimalist with the use of wood, I would like to fo a master study there and work sporadically to travel constantly, I don't like to live here because I will miss my family... and the society is still male chauvinist and besides being very expensive. 

Favorite food

My favorite food is the porotos con riendas, which are beans with noodles and squash, when are cooked together in a pressure cooker generally, as most know is a very common Chilean dish, and maybe that´s why it will cause laughter, but a really like them very much by becoming my favorite dish so far. It has an umami flavor, that is, it is not salty, sweet, sour or bitter. But, I like to add a kind of Pebre, but made of onion, coriander and lemon, it is usually added pork sausage with chili pepper color... but I´m vegetarian.  With respect to nutrition, the dish is very high in carbohydrates, so you should not eat so often, or at least it is complemented with a large salad plate, with the protein there is no problem, since you have the legume included. So I think it´s a good dish for everyone, just be careful to consume a lot of carbohydrates
