Industrial design has a lot pf contribute to the environment, as it designs products ans servicies that can be optimized for a lower environmental impact. There ia a branch of design focused on ecology, called eco-design. Area that I would like to work on, personally working on design innovation to reduce the carbon footprint in home appliances mainly, as it is what we use most daily and that when we dispose of it pollutes more by the amount of materials.
